ABOUT THE COUPLE Gavin is a 29 year old UK Technical Manager, currently residing in England.
HOW THEY MET: Yet finding each other... In a world of people... Falling in love... And living happily ever after... stay tuned... They stumbled upon a website at different times and joined simply out of curiosity. The site? it was www.blinddater.com. Their profiles are still there because they've made some lovely in real life friends that they keep in touch with. Gavin and Kimberley had gotten to know each other through polite conversation which lead to progressively more detailed conversation, about life, love, family, children, careers, values and perceptions of the world. They finally decide that a meeting is in order as they just get along so well in all areas of the conversations they've touched upon. Fast forward, they meet and know it's just right. Fast forward again, several visits and flights back and forth and they find themselves engaged and everyone pleased and giving them their best wishes. As the relationship has progressed they have only grown to love each other more as each day passes, never having to question the love of the other. Knowing ultimately that their individual happiness is based in great part on the happiness of the other. Their love is based on trust and communication. A knowledge that no matter how difficult it might be to tell the other something, they're not going to be subjected to ridicule or hurt. That they will be there for each other regardless of the circumstances. Their catch phrase, if they had to choose one would likely be 'no secrets' as once you start having to hide things the relationship has lost its integrity. Gavin and Kimberley can only wish that the rest of the world can find even 1/10th the happiness they have found in each other. HOW THEY GOT ENGAGED: Gavin proposed officially January 4th, 2002 whilst on a visit to Canada from England He asked Kimberley by posting a entry in his profile as an 'Annoucement' at Blinddater. He sat in her office, at her computer, she behind him in her rocking chair watching him type out the proposal. Kimberley's jaw hit the floor after he posted it because she really hadn't any idea what he was getting up to. They had toyed with the idea of marriage, but he made it official at that moment. Kimberley was overcome and of course accepted. Special CommentsI know the wedding will undoubtedly be a happier affair and a lovelier occassion that all will remember with a tear in their eye and a warmth in their heart. This due to the fact that the people we love and hold most dear to our hearts will be involved in making it possible for Gavin and I to share our love and our joy with each other and with them. |

The wedding theme/colors will be Undecided. The bride will wear a a traditional wedding dress in ivory or blush and the groom will be dressed in a a traditiona black tuxedo - long tie. The bridesmaids will wear coordinated separates in slightly different shades from the others and the groomsmen will be suited in tradtional black tuxedos. The flowers will be blush sweetheart roses, baby's breath, lillies, and the music for the ceremony will include Lakmé - Flower Duet... Enigma - Dream of the Dolphin. The readings will be undecided selections as of yet. The reception menu features undecided selections as of yet, and the wedding cake will be a 3 tier cake comprised of fruitcake, vanilla and chocolate. The reception entertainment will be various mixes everyone will enjoy. Kimberley and Gavin are registered at the following places: Not registered anywhere as of yet.
